Charter Options

This part of the country has quite a few large, crewed motoryachts and plenty of do-it-yourself sailboats. Sadly, for bareboat charters of powerboats, the pickins are somewhat slim.

Contact Ledger Marine Charters in Seattle (800-659-3048, www.ledgermarinecharters.com). If you click on “bareboat,” the site will direct you to ABC Yacht Charters (800-426-2313, www.abcyachts.com) and a listing of boats from which to choose. There are a few bareboats based in Seattle plus a slew of powerboats out of Anacortes, Washington, ranging from a 23-foot Bayliner to a 65-foot Viking motoryacht.
