Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

There’s no problem finding a great steakhouse in St. Paul. Kincaid’s Fish, Chop & Steak House (651-602-9000, www.kincaids.com) has stellar service outmatched only by the restaurant’s perfectly aged steaks. The Saint Paul Grill (651-22GRILL, www.stpaulgrill.com) has been voted the “Best Bar for Grown-Ups” by the Minneapolis/St. Paul magazine and overlooks historic Rice Park.

If you’re in the mood for Italian, the upscale and award-winning Pazzaluna (651-223-7000, www.pazzaluna.com) is just a block from the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. Buca di Beppo (866-328-2822, www.bucadibeppo.com) specializes in southern Italian served family style. It’s one block from Watergate Marina. Cossetta’s Italian Market and Pizzeria (651-222-3476) is great for a casual lunch or early dinner.

If you’re moored at the St. Paul Yacht Club, walk no farther than The Riverboat Grill (651-353- 0576) on the Harriet Island riverfront. The restaurant is housed inside a 1936-built, 134-foot-long towboat that seats 366 people on four levels.
